Here’s the first recap of the seminar Conspiracy for Good was proud to host with Jacque Fresco and Roxanne Meadows from the Venus Project to a small audience of fellow members, students, artists, friends and family.
In this episode he talks about our common heritage, science/utopia, energy/resources, scarcity/abundance, government/democracy, nature/environment, education/creativity, love/religion, and more.
Thought provoking to say the least….

He speaks some sense, yet some points are a matter of his academic opinion. There is no such thing as free will or love?? That"s a terrible statement to make that"s completely false. Yes there is no free will when it comes to us making decisions on how this world is ran, but there is free will for everyone of us in our own separate lives that we live through the choices that we make.
Love, love is the source of everything and that"s coming from a logical point of view. It"s the most euphoric experience that is the main goal to achieve while living here on earth. It"s a divine energy! Yes people get married and it doesn"t work out but that"s due to them settling for something less other than their twin flame (the other half of you) the person in which you have the most intense connection with. Rare to capture, but that"s the whole point of living, we are here to experience in order to learn, to grow as a spirit and evolve. Us “normal” people cannot change the world because there are too many corrupt souls in charge, though we CAN change the way in which we see this world! You just have to look DEEPER!Start by looking at yourself!

I think you misunderstand CosmicT. Let me try to explain.
If you grew up in America, and someone asked you, “What do you want, right now, if you could have anything?” You might say something like, money, or a big house, or lots of cars etc etc. Now if you were an Eskimo, and all you ever knew was that life, and living in an igloo and fishing, then the same question might produce a different answer. An Eskimo has no conception of big houses or lots of cars and money, so he might say he just wants alot of fish, or lots of warm cloths. In both cases, we didn"t force them to think anything, they choose of their own “free will” what they wanted. But is it really free will, or was it just the environments they grew up in that decided what they wanted? Is it knowledge or some mysterious force that exists that gives us or free will? That"s why Jacques says there is no such thing as free will, because your “free will” is just a collection of notions and ideas instilled in you by your upbringing and environment.
Second, when he says there is no such thing as love, he doesn"t mean that you can"t love, or that no one loves, or that love isn"t an emotion, he is saying that the idea of love is NOT static, meaning solid or the same, it is dynamic, meaning it changes or as he says fluctuates. Love is an abstract concept defined by your up bringing and environment and society, NOT by anything supernatural in nature. When you say “I love my wife” To you it means that you care for her, support her, protect her, or any other list of virtues, but say in the middle east, if a man says he loves his wife, he might mean that he beats her every day if she shows to much skin. Love is not a static thing, it is environmentally dependent and dynamic. You don"t always “love” something or someone, that DOESN"T mean that you CAN"T or don"t, it just means it changes. Thats why there is no such thing as “love” or “free will” as we know it, and as movies and media describe it.

Ok, I understand your described concept of free will and how if you don"t know what you can have or what you can do then you won"t ever retrieve it, though if i was in that position i would ask..“show me what i can have or what i can do” and the answer to that would be anything! you make it yourself through your own free will and power. Referring to your Eskimo kid, free will is a matter of choice, given that choice be it how big or small you have the right to pick your path. I see everything on a much larger scale as in the essence of life and why we put ourselves in the positions that we do.
Love, now your concept of love is a pretty dam academical away of thinking about it. It"s all really a matter of the way your mind is shaped and what you choose to believe is logical in order for it to make sense to you. I don"t believe perception of love is there just because of the way we are brought up and the environment we are brought up in. It"s a spiritual thing! Straight up. Yeah you don"t always love something but that"s because it"s clearly not unconditional love (the purest kind) you telling me sometimes you don"t love your mother? or yourself? even for these kids who have abusive parents which makes an impact on the child"s mind frame, they should realize that their parents have more than likely been through something in their past in order for them to act the way they do towards their kids. I have been through this situation myself so I"m living proof that love is not just a word or a mild emotion that doesn"t have any real meaning. You can choose to forgive, to understand, to let things go, by doing this it allows you to free yourself from baggage that"s destructive to you!
The problem is too many people in the world get confused with trying to find answers through the scientific things in front of them, they don"t ever dig deep enough to see what"s really truth.
Let me ask you this, and all the other people who read this.. what do you consider to be true power and knowledge?

It actually worries me that SOME people see love as nothing but an electromagnetic impulse that"s not stable. Lmao it simply comes down to the fact that peoples minds just aren"t open enough, Ill even say that to the highest of intellects because it"s simply the truth. Just because people have a brain with nice activity that allows them to understand a lot more, they can still be blind to what is real. I haven"t been brought up with God being slammed in my face everyday so i believe in him. I chose to believe in the shit you can"t see and know how powerful it is because I"m open to it. Honestly ask yourself why you are even here! Why life, your own personal life, is the way it is.
